- RSA(Regulatory Scientific Affairs) Specialist -

​

​

[업무내용]

RSA specialist ensures that Nestlé products comply with food safety, quality, and other legal requirements. To this end, he/she is responsible for products homologation including local text labelling and validation in association with HQ & supplier and related communication. Also continuous monitoring of regulation context & international standards and their impact on business/products and communication to HQ and internal stakeholders for their relevant actions.

- Keep abreast of regulatory knowledge locally at Korean Food Standards Codex and/or other international standard-setting organizations and share knowledge with other functions. Formulate early warning to HQ and related functions

- Contribute as key member to global and local projects. Be assigned as regulatory leader in NPDI.

- Ensure regulatory compliance of recipes, raw materials and products, labelling and any kind of product communication by working in close collaboration with marketing, sales and NiM Legal & RSA. Give guidance to relevant networks

- Regular review of IAP (Integrated Activity Plan) from HQ on a yearly basis to assess the potential risk and find solution to mitigate the impact

- Make sure full compliance to local regulation and business continuity by regular monitoring of local business related regulations and local government policies (regarding Products, Fair trade, Consumer protection, Environment, Chemicals and etc) and preparing actions in response to any change with cross-functional teams

- Contribute to business sustainability on environment in a way to support environmental-related tasks for compliance to government policy (evaluation and reporting on the recyclability of the new and updated packaging, demand for contribution fees on recycling and waste and provide assistance on environmental items from B-corp & LCA with regulatory extertise

[지원자격]

- Minimum 3 years - maximum 9 years working experience at food industry, primarily in regulatory affairs, regulatory compliance, nutrition or food safety regulation for domestic operation, with significant direct experience with KMFDS and/or KME and/or KC certifications of Household and similar electrical appliances.

- Applied knowledge in at least one of the regulatory related topics such as food safety, food equipment/packaging/container regulation, consumer information & quality.

Academic Experience:

- Minimum: BS/BA, preferably in nutrition and/or food science or legal, MS/MA preferred

- Ability to work with clear deadlines

- Focused on continuous improvement

- Team spirit

- Problem identification and solving

- Good analytical skills

- Great interest in Nespresso products

- Fluent in English both in verbal & written

 

Business Experience:

- Management exposure across several functions.

- Food safety management is a must and plus machine homologation preferred

- High level understanding about machine / Quality management

- Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams

- Good reporting skill to lead the necessary decision from any potential risk

- External stakeholder management skills,

- Good network building skill with government authorities
