- HQ: INTERNSHIP IN RESILIENT AND SMART URBAN DEVELOPMENT -
[업무내용]
We are looking for a motivated recent or current graduate to work within the Investment and Policy Solutions Division to support the Resilience Community of Practice (Resilience CoP) in research and analysis and event preparation.
This will be part of a new stream of work which relates to two key areas of growth for the Resilience CoP;
1. Smart and Resilient City Program Development (as a phase two to GGGI’s current Sponge City program)
2. The application of AI and digital strategies to climate data and adaptation planning processes.
The assignment will include the following but not limited to:
- Support the research, drafting, and editing of analytical products (reports, papers, concept notes)
- Supporting the development and expansion GGGI’s current climate resilient cities program into a global program, in particular with looking at the application of Smart City technology to climate resilient strategies.
- Support the Resilience CoP in researching and designing innovative mechanisms of climate finance.
- Supporting the GGGI Adaptation team in research, graphic design, and communication efforts
- Supporting GGGI’s participation in the European Commission “Technical Facility” for urban development.
- Initiating the development of new partnerships and programs on Smart Cities.
- Coordinating knowledge-sharing efforts and events.
The intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with other units within GGGI as well as with other international development institutions.
[지원자격]
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s (final year), Master’s or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months
- Excellent English communication skills, particularly writing and or editing experience in the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation (in English)
QUALIFICATION
- Engaged or recently engaged in academic study in climate, urban development, smart cities, and or sustainability, environmental policy or science, engineering, economics, or related field preferred.
- A strong background in academic research, quantitative methods, and data analysis.
- Proven computer literate in standard office software applications skills, and the ability to work or facilitate building quantitative models, web, and database programming skills.
- Proven capacity to develop research reports.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
